About This Place

Located in the heart of Saskatoon at 2605 Broadway Ave, Somewhere Else Pub & Grill is an inviting hotspot where casual dining meets vibrant live entertainment. This local gem expertly balances the comforts of a beloved neighborhood pub with the energetic buzz of a live music venue, making it a perfect destination for food lovers and music enthusiasts alike.

The menu is a delightful celebration of hearty, crave-worthy pub fare with a few inventive twists that make each dish a memorable experience. Standouts include the Pub Spud Nachos, a loaded dish bursting with savory layers of melted cheese, zesty toppings, and crispy potatoes that deliver a satisfying crunch with every bite. If lighter fare is preferred, the Soup & Salad Combo offers fresh, comforting flavors to soothe the soul.

For pizza lovers, the recently introduced pizza selection adds another dimension to the menu’s appeal. From the classic comfort of the 3 Cheese Classic to the adventurous tropical notes of The Tropical Getaway, each pizza is crafted with care and generous toppings. The Somewhere Else Bacon Cheeseburger pizza, in particular, offers a decadent fusion of smoky bacon, juicy burger flavors, and gooey cheese that’s hard to resist.

Don’t miss the shareable options like the Somewhere Else Platter—a perfect accompaniment for groups looking to sample a variety of flavors. Appetizers such as the Baked Spinach & Artichoke Dip and the oven-baked nachos with their gooey cheese and fresh ingredients are crowd-pleasers, ideal for opening up your palate while soaking in the lively atmosphere.

The atmosphere at Somewhere Else is warm and inviting, punctuated by the hum of live music that frequently graces the venue’s stage. Customers repeatedly praise not only the quality of the food but also the exceptional service and convivial vibe. For instance, J F highlights the top-notch service and inventive takes on brunch classics, while Hoelito Francisco recommends the pub for anyone wanting a refreshing alternative to the usual bar scene, thanks to its great live bands and welcoming environment.

While there may be occasional busy nights where service slightly lags, as noted by Dexter Deugau, the attentive staff and quality of food more than make up for it, leaving guests eager to return. Rebekah DeMaya’s delight over the freshly made apple fritter and ice cream, combined with personal attention from the cook, captures the genuine care Somewhere Else extends to its patrons.

Whether you’re craving a casual night out with vibrant live tunes, a comforting meal of staple pub favorites, or an indulgent pizza, Somewhere Else Pub & Grill delivers on all fronts with authenticity and heart. It’s more than just a place to eat; it’s a destination where great food meets memorable experiences.

Mother’s Day brunch was fantastic. The spinach and goat cheese eggs benny with bacon was a great, little spin on a classic. The berries and cream French toast was a showstopper for my son. Guava mimosas weren’t too shabby either and the service was top notch. 10/10 will be back for brunch!

This is a nice little bar but I've, honestly, only been there once, and it was this past weekend to see some live talent. I went with some family and friends and everyone had a great time, the bands were really good too. I've heard a lot of good things about this bar before my first visit, should've checked it out sooner. Id recommend this bar to people who are just a bit tired of the same old places and would like to go.. Somewhere Else? ...

The fresh made apple fritter and ice cream was absolutely amazing. The cook even came out to make sure I was enjoying my meal.

Great place for some good food & music. Visited for the first time from out of town and enjoyed dinner. The spinach dip as an appetizer was great!! Their quesdillas are a big hit, we got the ground beef one as well as the chicken one. The fish and chips were alright, breading was good but the fish on the inside felt more like mush instead of flaky chucks, so I was slightly disappointed. Their highlight side are the Yam Fries, cooked to perfection and seasoned wonderfully! I will definitely be making my way back to try something different on their menu!

Came to see the live band. Food came out late but was busy. Server and manager were extremely apologetic but extremely good food and definitely will come back. Highly recommend

We went to see 7 Days Past Ft. JawnRaw. The live music was great and their vibe was awesome. It’s a music bar so during the music you can’t talk much but they take periodic breaks. The food was good but expensive for what you get in my opinion. The server was lovely, however there was some confusion on what we had or not.We did have to clarify. Other than that I had a great time and would love to come back and listen to more great music from local talent!
